So far in 2026, I’ve lost two family members or people that I love. Both of those people have been under the Care of Hughes Mortuary, and they definitely have treated me like Family and took care of my loved ones beyond anything I would’ve ever expected from A funeral service or Mortuary. But I know that if I ever need funeral service again, Jimmie Hughes and his team at Hughes Mortuary is where I will be using as care of my loved one. We were so happy with Hughes Mortuary! They were very professional and so compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend them for the best experience under difficult circumstances. I have to mention Tim, Ryan, Jessie and Mike. My daughters had a special experience in dressing their Dad’s body. Ryan assisted them in a very reverant and caring manner. The hardest thing I have ever done was to bury our eldest son, only 35 yrs old. The are no word to fully express how amazing our experience was with Hughes Mortuary. It was like a life saver was thrown to us in this tempest and saved our lives. We had an entire staff of competent professionals who quickly became our friends!! They provided all the time we needed. Tim was key in helping us walk the mine field as we considered options and decisions. The financial challenges were explained and Hughes Mortuary tailored our needs in every detail both financially and in celebrating the life of our precious son. 110%. In every way they surpassed our expectations. Our son was handled with the kindest respect. They could not have been better. They took the burden off of our shoulders and created a precious moment we will cherish the remainder of our lives. Our experience was stellar!! I assisted my mother through this whole process. I called Hughes many times. They were always available, very responsive and sensitive to the situation. We did a military "direct burial" where the body was transported from Utah to Idaho and buried prior to the services. The whole process was done very professionally. We can't say enough about Hughes. We will definitely use them again.

Hughes Mortuary was amazing. Burying my newborn son was not easy, but having the Hughes team help us made everything a lot more doable. Ryan, our services coordinator, was absolutely heaven sent. I have never been taken care of like he did with us in a time that was so difficult. Ryan is a must have if you have to use a mortuary service. Thank you, Ryan and the Hughes team, for everything.
